Hey you! Yes, you! What are you waiting for? You know what you’re supposed to do! You have a calling, don’t ignore it! Why are you still waiting for confirmation? You KNOW this. If you wait too long, you are going to miss your window. You have an opportunity that you need to take. If you don’t the situation is never going to change.

You may be wondering how you’re supposed to go after it when you are still waiting on resources and materials that you need to go after this goal. It may seem impossible at this point because you don’t have what you need. I know how you feel. I’ve been the one dragging my feet because I didn’t feel prepared. But, guess what? God doesn’t call the equipped, he equips the called. He is waiting on your obedience to equip you for this journey. You have been sitting around waiting on God to make a way, when He’s telling you that this IS the way. He wants to bless you beyond your wildest dreams, so take a chance and listen to Him.

Instead of sitting around wondering when God is going to make this happen for you, get out there and pursue the path He has for you. He isn’t going to push you through the door, He has already opened it for you. It is your job to walk through it. Don’t hesitate. You don’t know how long that door will stay open. If you choose to wait for a miraculous sign in order to act, you will miss your chance. You aren’t going to get a miraculous sign that confirms your calling before you choose to pursue it. God confirms his plans to you AFTER you are obedient. Not before. This is how faith works. You may not know what is on the other side of the door, but you walk through it anyway because you trust your Father to have your best interest at heart.

I’m not going to lie to you. This is going to be tough. Nothing worth pursuing is ever easy and done without sacrifice. You may have to walk away from certain things or people to get where He is calling you. You may have to leave things you love behind. You will face opposition. You will come under attack when you are on the right path. There will be times when you think don’t think this is worth it. When you feel like this was a big mistake. There will be times when you have no idea what you’re doing and you’re scared to death. There will be times where you feel like you’re flying by the seat of your pants and times where you feel like you are walking into it blind. But please, never give up.

This world needs someone like you. It needs what God is trying to do through you. You have a purpose. It comes with a cost, but the reward is far beyond the limits of your imagination. Your greatest aspirations will make God laugh. You are His child and He knows what you are capable of. He knew you before Creation and decided that you needed to be put on Earth. That is special. You can do this. The God of the Universe is ordering your steps. Don’t get too caught up in confirmation that you miss your calling. Get. After. It.
