Have you ever felt insufficient? Unloved? How about just flat out not good enough? I would be lying if I said that I always have the confidence to say that I’m enough. Sometimes I let the things around me determine how I feel about myself. It is easy to look at your job situation, bank statements, relationships, grades, your vehicle, your actions, or one of a million different things in your life and feel like a failure. You may look at your life and feel like no one could ever love you or see value in you. You’re too busy worrying about what others think to realize that someone already sees incredible value in you and your limitless potential.
God knows every single thing you have ever done. He knows what you did yesterday at work, this morning at breakfast, and what you’ll do tomorrow night. He knows how you acted and will act, what you said and will say, and what you thought and will think. He knows it all. This can be a scary thought. Some of you are thinking that this means you’re really in trouble. But you know what? He knows every single thing about you, and said that you were to die for!!! He knows every dirty secret you have, and he WILLINGLY gave His life for you! He loves you so much that he paid the ultimate price so that you wouldn’t have to. Even with the knowledge of all that you would do wrong.
You will never be good enough to people. In fact, you’ll never be enough to yourself. The great news is that you don’t have to be. Jesus loves you enough that he died for you. That means that there must be something pretty special about your life!!! You have a calling that no one can take away from you. It is up to you to believe in Him and that He died for something important. You have important work to do, don’t let discouragement stop His plan for your life.

Thank you for the great reminder of how much God loves me. Sometimes I get too engrossed with work that I just flop into bed and sleep without saying my prayers. God has been good to me all the time and I feel His Love. There are times that make me feel so lost, unloved and desperate. Only God can life me out of the rut I get into.
